So, I confess, I turned 50 this past Christmas(!!!), which I've decided to own loud and proud. Since I've outed myself, I've found that there are a bunch of us very active design folks turning 50 this year.
I figured it would be cool to throw a 50@50 party to celebrate those of us who aren't millenials in what has become an agist society. I envision it being like Capote's annual Black and White Balls; a collective birthday party every year to call out those who have and are contributing to NYC design community.

Nominate your favorite NYC based Designer who is still contributing to our Design Community! We promise to not "Out" anyone, but let us know who we should reach out to and invite to our 50@50 Birthday Dinner Party at Michele Varian. We will select 50 of the most significant, productive and FUN designers to be guests of honor at our dinner party.
