    Named after the pacific northwests only native oyster. Their wavy edged shells can be found on most beaches around the Puget Sound.

    The Puget Sound is the body of water that surrounds the greater Seattle area. It stretches from Canada down through most of Washington state. It’s an inlet from the Pacific Ocean so though Seattle isn’t technically an ocean front town it is surround by salt water and many habitats for oysters.
