Few figures in the world of gastronomy strike equal parts glee and terror in the faces of chefs, however, Top Chef judge Gail Simmons champions culinary talent across the spectrum. The Toronto-born, New York-based Simmons might be a gastronomic jet-setter—just check out her hit 2017 cookbook here featuring recipes from her travels—but she calls Brooklyn home and often finds herself at one of the city's many boîtes or green spaces.
