All the lava rock pieces can be used for dry food, but not liquid. They can be heated directly in the oven or on a flame to keep the food hot. Their primary use is to heat and keep tortillas warm. They can be used for bread as well.

Wash with soap and water with a brush for cleaning. Oil can leave dark spots. The lava rock darkens with use with food.
