Linen Diamond Pendant Light Sand

| /
The Michele Varian diamond pendant references traditional collapsible Japanese rice paper shades, in function and in "lightness" in reference to visual weight and emission of light through thin and delicate materials. Isamu Noguchi--arguable one of the most influential lighting designers of all time--called his series of lights "akari" which in Japanese means "light" in the same way as our English, referring to weight and emission of light.
