Two great eyes, wide open, their centers spinning with cosmic pinwheels. The largest and most expressive in a series of eye sculptures by Brooklyn-based artist Claire Molenda, this pair has an especially watchful presence: a good spirit that charges creative energy. They are a centerpiece that works just as well as a meditative altar. 

Though the sculptures are separate pieces, they were built side by side simultaneously using the coil method and match as closely as handwork allows.
